Security Improvements Coming to Greenwood Schools

Chicot Memorial

GREENWOOD, MS (Ben Caxton) — Greenwood Schools are about to receive some high-tech security improvements. The School Board this week approved spending more than $83,000 to install electronic card-swipe entry systems with cameras at all entry doors. The contract, with Gardner’s Telephone Services, will provide teacher’s with access cards to allow them in and out of the buildings while doors remain locked otherwise at all times to prevent unauthorized access to the schools.
