Rosedale Again Searching For A New Chief Of Police

ROSEDALE, MS (Ben Caxton) — For the second time in nine months Rosedale is looking for a new Chief of Police. Elijah Johnson stepped down from his position during executive session at Tuesday’s city council meeting. His predecessor, Michael Thomas, was released from his position by the Rosedale City Council at the start of the year. They did not give a reason for Thomas’ removal. Mayor Cary Estes says the city will be actively looking for a replacement to again fill the vacant position.
