Restraining Order Against State Lawmakers Thrown Out

(Jackson, MS) — After a restraining order was granted against state lawmakers Wednesday, House Speaker Philip Gunn filed an emergency appeal with the Supreme Court challenging the temporary restraning order. Rep. Jay Hughes of Oxford filed the retraining order saying the speaker was violating the state Constitution.
