Representatives with the U.S. Department of Education arrive at Delta State University this week

It is part of a series of stops that also included Philadelphia, Chicago, Redwood City California, and Fall River Massachusetts. The representatives are creating a national plan to improve job preparedness for low-skilled adults. More than 36 million Americans are considered low-skilled and many of them are young. The national plan that Delta State will assist with is expected to be released this Spring.
