Prentiss County Supervisor Arrested for Dui in County Vehicle

CORINTH, MS (Ben Caxton) — A county supervisor in Prentiss County has been charged with driving under the influence and careless driving. James Plaxico was arrested at a safety checkpoint north of Corinth Saturday night. Mississippi Highway Patrol troopers say the 59-year-old was driving a county-owned vehicle at the time of his arrest. Plaxico was booked into the Alcorn (ALL-corn) County Jail and released on a $2,000 bond.
