Chicot Memorial

HAZLEHURST, MS (Ben Caxton) — A phony car sale has landed a Holly Springs man in trouble with the law. Police are searching for 40-year-old Leonardius Walrickus Cistrunk who they say agreed to sell a white Nissan Altima to a Hazelhurst woman for $7,200. The woman gave Cistrunk $1400 as a down payment, but the car was never delivered. Hazelhurst Police have charged Cistrunk with felony false pretense, but Cistrunk has disappeared.
