People Escape But Dog Dies In Jackson Fire


JACKSON, MS (Ben Caxton) — Jackson area firefighters said at least seven people escaped an early Wednesday morning house fire, but the family’s dog died in the fire. The fire was reported at 1:00 AM at the Cedars of Lebanon on Manhattan Road. The blaze, which survivors believe broke out in the home’s living room, gutted the interior. The fire is under investigation.
