PEARL, MS (Ben Caxton) — A Pearl Police Officer injured his hamstring chasing an Illinois man who had tried to get cash from a stolen credit card Friday afternoon. 20-year-old Jermain Marshal from Chicago entered a bank in Pearl and provided false identification to a teller to make a cash charge against the card. The teller stalled Marshal until police arrived. The suspect saw the police pulling up and took off on foot. He was captured a few blocks away after a brief chase.
