GREENVILLE, MS (Ben Caxton) — Greenville Police have made an arrest in a Saturday morning armed bank robbery. A teller at Woodforest Bank located inside the Greenville Walmart on Highway 1 South called police around 10:00 AM to report that two black males had robbed the business. Police say that the teller told officers who responded that one of the men warned they had a gun and wrote a note on a deposit slip demanding money. The teller responded by saying that he, too, had a gun, but gave one of the suspects an undisclosed amount of money. The two fled north on Highway 1 in a white Toyota Camry which police later found. On Sunday Greenville Police arrested 47-year-old Marshall Anderson in connection with the robbery. He was charged with one count of robbery and is being held in the Washington County Correctional Facility. Investigators say they have also identified and are searching for the second suspect involved.
