Now Just One Coahoma Jail Escapee Uncaptured

COAHOMA, COUNTY (Ben Caxton) — Coahoma County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a third escapee on Friday. LeAndrew Booker was behind bars for burglary when he and three other inmates escaped from the jail earlier this month. Booker, along with Percy Bryand, Cordarius Thomas and Marquis Stevenson were all on the run after the escape. Now only Stevenson has yet to be apprehended. He was out on bond for murder charges when he was arrested and charged with statutory rape. A $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to Stevenson’s capture.
