No Suspect Yet In Tchula Murder Case

TCHULA, MS (Ben Caxton) — So far Holmes County authorities say they still have no suspects in the slaying of a 61-year-old man whose body was discovered in his home near Tchula almost two weeks ago. Sheriff Willie March said Monday that there was no new information about the case and no arrests have been made. Paul Sharpe, a retired farmer, was found dead in the kitchen area of his home November 1st by family members. WLBT-TV reported that there was a large amount of blood at the scene and no forced entry into the home. A preliminary investigation indicates Sharpe suffered head trauma and his death is being investigated as a homicide.
