New Mississippi Casino Coming to Gulf Coast

JACKSON, MS (Ben Caxton) — State regulators have approved the site for the 13th casino on Mississippi’s Gulf Coast. On Wednesday the state gaming commission voted unanimously Wednesday to give Long Beach its first casino. The developer and investors must show they have financing to complete the project; that it meets the required guidelines for size of the casino, a 300-bed hotel, and a fine dining restaurant. Plans must be approved by the Long Beach city architectural review board.
