New Gulf Coast Casino Step Closer to Reality

LAKESHORE, MS (Ben Caxton) — A new gulf coast casino in Mississippi is a step closer to reality this week after the Mississippi Gaming Commission gave its site approval Thursday to a local developer who plans to build the casino in Lakeshore, Mississippi, near Bay St. Louis. Plans for the casino announced in March call for 40,000 square feet of gambling space, 1,100 slot machines, and 22 game tables along with a new 300-room hotel.
