NCAA Infractions Committee Discusses Ole Miss

Chicot Memorial

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (Ben Caxton) — On Monday the NCAA Committee on Infractions discussed each of the 21 allegations against the Ole Miss Rebels. The university is challenging at least 9 of the 21 charges. The future of Ole Miss football is at stake and it’s possible the Rebels could be hit with a two-year bowl ban, making players on the current roster free to transfer to another school and play immediately if they chose to leave. The NCAA is expected to make a decision about Ole Miss’ fate in November.
