Murder for Hire Bond Reduced

MONTICELLO, AR (Ben Caxton) — Bond has been reduced for a Monticello woman accused of plotting to kill her husband and his ex-wife. Stephanie Hill-Rogers has been held in the Drew County Detention Center on $500,00 bond since her October 2018 arrest. She was formally charged in December with two counts of first-degree murder solicitation in connection with an alleged plot in October to kill her husband, former Monticello Mayor Joe Rogers and his former wife, Debbie Rogers. In court, Friday Circuit Judge Quincey Ross granted a bond reduction to $100,000 with conditions. He said Rogers could not be released until she is fitted with an ankle monitor. And, she is to have no contact with Joe Rogers, his daughter Debbie Mykayla Rawls and an unnamed minor. Her husband Joe Rogers told the court through his daughter Debbie that he would post the bond.
