More Trouble for 3 Doors Down Bassist Todd Harrell

Chicot Memorial

JACKSON COUNTY, MS (Ben Caxton) — Todd Harrell, the original bass player of the rock band 3 Doors Down, faces more legal trouble following his arrest on weapons and drug charges over the weekend. Harrell is charged with three counts of possessing a firearm after a felony conviction; police were called to his home in Jackson County after an argument with his wife turned violent. Deputies confiscated marijuana and a 9 mm rifle, a .357 Magnum and a Cobra two-barreled handgun. Harrell was on probation after serving two years for a fatal 2013 accident in Tennessee, and he could be ordered to serve another five years in prison for killing 47-year-old Paul Shoulders Jr., who died when Harrell was driving over 100 mph and struck his pickup on Interstate 40.
