More details on DSU shooter

Shannon Lamb, suspected in two fatal shootings, is dead. As police pulled Lamb over Monday night he jumped out of his car, ran into the woods near Greenville and shot himself in the head. He had previously told authorities he was not going to go to jail. Lamb was connected to two homicides that happened 300 miles apart; he was suspected of shooting and killing his girlfriend, 41-year-old Amy Prentiss in Gautier (go-SHAY) and history professor Dr. Ethan Schmidt at his office on the campus of Delta State University. A Clarksdale school where Lamb’s ex-wife works was also locked down on Monday following the Delta State shooting.
