Monticello Clinical Director Elected To State Board

MONTICELLO, AR (Ben Caxton) — A clinical director from Monticello has been elected to a state board. Byron Montgomery, Mainline Health Systems’ assistant clinical director and provider at Star City, has been elected to the Arkansas Nurse Practitioner Association Board of Directors He’ll begin serving a two-year term representing District 2 starting this month. Montgomery is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a Master’s of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialty. He received his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 2006 before earning his Master’s Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.
