Monticello Area Man Arrested for "Terrorism"

MONTICELLO, AR (Ben Caxton) — A Monticello area man has been arrested on “terrorism” charges. Drew County Sheriff Mark Gober says Joe Lemly was arrested after violating a court protection order late Wednesday morning. Family members called police after Lemly approached their home and made threats to assault, and kill them. The threats stem from earlier incidents on Florence Road according to authorities. Lemly fled the scene before police arrived, but Deputies followed footprints in a nearby field to the place where Lemly was hiding and he was taken into custody. He is being held without bond facing two charges of terroristic threatening, assault, violation of a protection order, and fleeing.
