Mississippi youth charged with conspiring to provide material support to a terrorist group

A federal magistrate judge has ordered 20- year old Jaelyn Delshaun Young and 22- year old Muhammad Oda Dakhlalla to be held without bail pending grand jury action. The two are charged with attempting to join the Islamic State and it’s believed that they could be capable of committing acts of terrorism. Federal prosecutors pushed to deny bail for both of them. They were arrested by the FBI at Golden Triangle Regional Airport near Columbus Mississippi as they tried to travel to Syria.
