Chicot Memorial

OMAHA, NE (Ben Caxton) — Mississippi State’s college baseball team was the latest victim of the Oregon State Beavers in Omaha on Friday. The 51-11-1 Beavers have scored 43 runs in just four games on the way to defeating the 39-18 Bulldogs 12 to 2. Oregon State finished with 15 hits to Mississippi States 5. If the Beavers beat Mississippi State again today they’ll be headed to the best of three game Championship Series. The Bulldogs are trying to return to the finals for the first time since 2013.
