Mississippi Road Crew Prefers Dead Cats To Catfish Parts

COLUMBUS, MS (Ben Caxton) — In a state where catfish farming is big business, a truck driver spilled catfish parts on a Mississippi highway this week…and kept driving. Nobody was injured in the spill but state transportation department workers had to cover their noses and worked for several hours to clean up the stinky, slimy mess. A road crew supervisor joked that “a dead cat” would smell better than the dead fish. The truck lost its load on an on-ramp to US Highway 82 near Columbus Tuesday morning
