Mississippi River Mayors Discuss Flooding Damage

(Greenville, MS) — Mississippi and Louisiana mayors gathered at the Washington County Convention Center Monday to discuss the impact of the recent historic storms on their communities and their recovery plans as a whole. The mayors are working with the Mississippi River Cities and Towns Initiative to ask Congress for more funds to help with rebuilding and recovery efforts. The mayors are seeking state and federal assistance to successfully revitalize their communities.
