PARCHMAN, MS (Ben Caxton) — Three escapes discovered Friday morning have led to a statewide lockdown at all Mississippi state prisons, private prisons, regional jails, and community work centers. 31-year-old Jonathan Blankenship and 28-year-old Christopher Benson High went missing from the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Pearl and are considered armed and dangerous. At the same time, authorities are searching for 57-year-old Benny Ray Blansett who escaped from the Mississippi State Penitentiary at Parchman around 3:00 AM Friday morning.
