Mississippi Lieutenant Governor Tate Reeves and his security officer were not injured during a two-car collision that sent the occupants of the other car to hospitals with minor injuries

A state trooper was driving a pickup truck in which Tate was a passenger with they collided with a Buick Century that pulled into their path. It happened early Monday afternoon on U.S. Highway 49 in Collins.
