Mississippi Gets $33 Million for Emergency Operations

(Jackson, MS)- The state of Mississippi received a whopping $33 million in federal grant money to be used to further develop coordination among emergency responders statewide. Officials say the money will be used to create and upgrade technology that will allow first responders in the state to view and share data. The data sharing could be operable as soon as the end of 2017.
