Mississippi Congressman Alan Nunnelee has been sent home from a hospital, after doctors found a new tumor and advised him that no further medical treatment is possible

He is said to be resting comfortably. Nunnelee had a stroke in June while surgeons were removing a tumor. Earlier this month, he had bleeding in his left leg and was too ill to travel to Washington to swear in for his third two-year term, so a federal judge came to his hospital room at North Mississippi Medical Center for the oath of office. After finding a non-operable tumor, doctors decided that further treatment is not possible. Nunnelee is 56 years old.
