Missing Drunk Arkansas ATV Driver Found Dead

PHILLIPS COUNTY, AR (Ben Caxton) — A Phillips County man was discovered dead after his family reported him missing last week after he reportedly took off on a four-wheeler drunk. The brother of 51-year old Edward Jones found the body and ATV in a pond on Quapaw Trail in Helena Thursday. The body has been sent to the Arkansas Medical Examiner’s Office. Meanwhile, Southaven police are waiting to hear from the state medical examiner’s office in Jackson about a body found behind a home last week. The investigation began Monday with a tip about a man from Paragould, Arkansas who hadn’t been seen by his family in months. On Tuesday investigators found a body in a shallow grave. The missing man was living at the home with Michael Guidry and others. Guidry was arrested for credit card fraud in an unrelated case.
