MDOC Corrections Director Arrested On Domestic Charges

PEARL, MS (Ben Caxton) — A Pearl domestic dispute has left a Mississippi Department of Corrections official in hot water. Todd King, Community Corrections Director for MDOC, was arrested and charged Tuesday morning after a second trip to his home over a few hours by Pearl Police. Lt. Brian McGairty of the Pearl Police Department says there was no evidence of physical abuse but added there was evidence of a threat being made. King has been placed on leave from his job with the state pending review.
