Man Arrested in Monday Greenwood Killing

GREENWOOD, MS (Ben Caxton) — Leflore County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man in connection with Monday night’s fatal shooting of Christopher Wilson. 24-year-old Travis Potts called a deputy and surrendered. He is being held on charges of first-degree murder. Potts is accused of shooting Wilson on King Circle in the Browning community around 10:00 PM Monday in what is described as an argument over a woman. Coroner Debra Sanders said the victim was shot several times but police have declined to say where the bullets impacted Wilson.

    This is a shame..when will we ever learn. Both these young men lost their lives now the woman still put here to raise kids without their father..
