Mainline Health Getting $138K Boost From Feds

SOUTHEAST ARKANSAS (Ben Caxton) — A prominent Southeast Arkansas health care provider has gotten a financial boost from the U.S. federal government. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services said they were giving Mainline $138,674 as an investment in “quality improvement.” Mainline was not alone. The government’s announcement included over $1.1M in grants to twelve different health care providers across the state of Arkansas. Mainline also operates nine health clinics in five school districts across the area in Star City, Hamburg, Portland, Lakeside, Eudora, Dermott, and Drew.
