Local Fraternity to Hold Dance-a-thon to Raise Money for Injured Student

(Cleveland, MS) — After being hit by a drunk driver on February 14, Delta State University student, Anna Claire Stokes is still hospitalized and has no feeling in her legs. Yet days after her accident, she encouraged family and friends to forgive the person who had left her in such a terrible state. The friends of such a special person will hold a dance-a-thon in her honor. The Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity will hold this footloose themed event at State Room at Delta State University Thursday, March 31st from 7 p.m. until midnight. The cost will be $10 for an individual and $20 for a couple. The event will include a silent auction, raffling and the last couple dancing wins an assortment of prizes. All proceeds will go to Anna Claire and the Stokes family. Donations are accepted.
