Leland School Revote Leads To The Same Outcome

LELAND, MS (Ben Caxton) — Problems with the voter registration rolls in Leland led to a second election on Tuesday for a school board seat. But after the votes were tallied, the results remained the same. Incumbent school board member Brandon Keith Taylor was elected to represent Ward 3. Taylor racked up 195 votes to hopeful Dolores Smith’s 98 in the official tally.
