Leland is rejoining the Washington County Crime Stoppers program

The Leland Board of Alderman voted unanimously to rejoin the county Crime Stoppers program, after participation has lapsed under a previous administration. Crime Stoppers allows citizens to offer anonymous tips about crimes, often for cash rewards. It will be funded via a two dollar assessment that will be added to all city fines.
