Kidnapping Charges for Former Ole Miss Dispatcher

OXFORD, MS (Ben Caxton) — A fired University of Mississippi police dispatcher has been charged with kidnapping and “touching a child for lustful purposes.” 37-year-old Nikki Thweatt was arrested in New Orleans Sunday after she, and an underage girl went missing. She had been previously charged with sexual battery of a minor on June 26, and released by the University. Thweatt is now back in Mississippi being held in the Lafayette County Detention Center.
