JSU Football Legend Dead at 76

(Mississippi) — Former wide receiver for Jackson State University and Greenville native, legendary Willie Richardson passed away yesterday. Richardson led the SWAC in receptions from 1959 to 1963. He was also inducted into the Jackson State University Hall of Fame in 1978. Richardson also played in one of the biggest games in NFL history and had a long list of accomplishments during his lifetime. He died at the age of 76.
