Jim Hall Called to Resign Candidacy by Arkansas GOP Chairman

(Arkansas)— Jim Hall has been called to resign his candidacy for the District 9 seat in the Arkansas Legislature by Arkansas GOP Chairman Doyle Webb. The Arkansas Court of Appeals recently upheld Hall’s Drew County conviction of harassment and harassing communications. Webb has stated that Hall’s actions do not reflect the values of the Republican Party of Arkansas, which is why he has called on House District 9 nominee Jim Hall to resign his candidacy. Hall says he will not withdraw from the race.
