Jackson Exhibit Takes Viewers Back to the Future

JACKSON, MS (Ben Caxton) — Marty McFly’s self-lacing Nikes and hoverboard from “Back to the Future II” and Indiana Jones’ bullwhip from “The Last Crusade” are on display at the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science in Jackson. Michael J. Fox wore the shoes when he time-traveled to Hill Valley in 2015 and the whip was used by Harrison Ford when he rescued his father, played by Sean Connery, from the Nazis. The three pop-culture items are on loan through July 30th; they are part of the “Science of Ripley’s Believe It Or Not” exhibit which continues through September.
