JACKSON, MS (Ben Caxton) — A number of billboards in the Jackson area reminded people to come out and vote – a week after the election. The billboards apparently showed the election date as November 16 when the actual date for the Mississippi election is November 5. Local television stations contacted a spokesman for vote.org, the group paying for the billboards, who said that the ads were intended to go up in Louisiana, where runoffs are November 16. All of the incorrect messages were removed over the weekend.
