It’s Severe Weather Preparedness Week In Mississippi

MISSISSIPPI (Ben Caxton) — Spring often brings severe weather from March to May, and this week is Severe Weather Preparedness Week. Each day this week the state of Mississippi will focus on a different type of severe weather to help the public better understand and prepare for that type of weather should it occur, from thunderstorms and lightning to flash flooding and tornados. On Wednesday Mississippi will host a statewide tornado drill in conjunction with the routine weekly test at 9:15 AM.
