VICKSBURG, MS (Ben Caxton) — The Mississippi Highway Patrol reports five people were injured, including one seriously following a two-vehicle accident involving a Toyota Camry and flatbed semi-truck on Highway 61 North of Vicksburg Tuesday afternoon. The accident occurred shortly before 3:30 PM in the southbound lane of US 61 North at the intersection with Oak Ridge Road. Warren County Sheriff Martin Pace said AirCare met the ambulance at River Region and Hutson was transported to University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Her car had four passengers, all children aged 4, 7, 8, and 8. They transported to River Region with what the State Patrol described as minor pains, scratches, and bruises. The car was totaled.
