Greenville Teenager Critical After Being Shot

GREENVILLE, MS (Ben Caxton) — A 19-year-old Greenville man is fighting for his life at the University of Mississippi Medical Center today after being shot multiple times early Thursday morning. Police say they were called to the 600 block of West Union Street shortly after 2:00 AM. on the scene they discovered the victim, a black male, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man was taken by ambulance to Delta Regional Medical Center before being airlifted to Jackson where he was in critical, but stable, condition at last report. No suspects are in custody at this time and the police are investigating the incident.
