Greenville Schools are delaying the distribution of iPads

Chicot Memorial

Greenville schools are converting from textbooks to iPads. Officials say it will save money in the long run, since textbooks are expensive and became outdated quickly. The iPads have been delivered, but the district has decided not to start distributing them until the next school year. Staff will undergo training on how to make the best use of iPads, and training will be offered to parents as well. Parents also have the option of declining an iPad for their child.
