Greenville residents object to tax rate increase

Residents turned out at a Greenville City Council meeting to voice their objections to a proposed two-mill property tax levy increase. Councilors said they considered cutting employment, but it would have interred with services so they opted for the property tax increase. A vote on a final budget is set for next Tuesday.
