Greenville Public School District responds to D grade

The Greenville Public School District Spokesperson is responding to questions about the recent D grade for the district from the state education department. Greenville rated a D in 2012, but some had thought that recent improvements in student test scores would bring that grade up this year. Spokesperson Everett Chinn says that work to do includes improving the graduation rate and continuing to stress the core subjects of reading and math.
