Greenville Police Arrest Suspect in Wednesday Homicide

GREENVILLE, MS (Ben Caxton) — Greenville Police have arrested a man in connection with Wednesday morning’s fatal shooting. Jarron Daniels was placed into custody at the Greenville Police Department without incident. Police believe Daniels shot and killed 28-year-old Arby Moses around 3:40 AM in the 500 block of McAllister. When Police arrived on scene they found Moses lying on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds. He was treated by EMS and transported to Delta Regional Medical Center where he later died from his injuries. Investigators say the motive for the shooting appears to have been a dispute over a female. Daniels has been charged with Murder, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
