Greenville men face prison for marijuana distribution

Two Greenville men are facing prison sentences for an alleged large-scale marijuana distribution scheme. After an investigation that spanned four states, two Greenville men face prison time for the alleged intent to distribute marijuana. Cornelius Harris was sentenced to 12 years after pleading guilty to the charges. He also pleaded guilty in a separate case involving the alleged possession of contraband in the Washington County Jail. Christopher Butts was also convicted of possession with intent to distribute but has not yet been sentenced. He faces up to 60 years in prison due to his history as a repeat offender.
