(Greenville, MS)- Greenville residents took to Facebook to express their sadden, angry, frustrated emotions after Hope Well Baptist Church went up in flames, tagged with spray paint, with the words, “Vote Trump”. Greenville Fire Chief Ruben Brown has stated that the fire occurred around 9:15 PM last night. It was Hopewell Baptist Church that’s located 600 block of North Delesseps Street. Brown says there are no reported injuries. The majority of the fire damage was in the main sanctuary. ATF and State Fire Marshals were on scene last night. Delta Daily News was informed several other outside agencies are on their way this morning. A press conference will be held this morning at 10:30 AM at Greenville Fire Department- Station 1 located downtown.
