Golden Eagles Teams Getting New Uniforms

HATTIESBURG, MS (Ben Caxton) — Athletic teams at the University of Southern Mississippi will have a new look beginning next season as the school’s 16 teams will have uniforms, footwear, headgear and accessories from Adidas AG Group. The eight-year contract runs through 2024-25 and will begin in August when the Golden Eagles’ current five-year deal with Russell Athletic expires. Russell Athletic paid the university about $550,000 annually but no details of the Adidas deal were disclosed. Adidas is the official provider for more than 100 collegiate programs including Mississippi State.
