Gasoline Drops Under $2.00 As Holiday Approaches

MISSISSIPPI (Ben Caxton) — Gas prices are declining as over 44 million Americans will hit the highways over the 4th of July holiday, and Mississippi has some of the lowest prices in the country. The AAA says it’s possible that we could finish the summer with prices at or below $2 a gallon. The average price in the Magnolia State is $2.00 per gallon, although several locations in the Delta are selling regular for less than $2.00 and the state’s cheapest gas is $1.81 a gallon in Gulfport.
